The CARF accredited, substance abuse treatment facility Set Free Alaska is a non-profit outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation treatment service provider, which opened it’s doors to the general public in 2010. This facility provides an amazing outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment service and is known to be one of the best rehabilitation facility in Alaska.
Set Free Alaska offers its patients a individual personalized plan which includes the set of treatment options and therapy choices which would be best for their patients. This facility offers individualized and 12-Step treatment plans for patients who are young adults or teenagers. The therapy choices influence different aspects of their patient’s life to aid in the speedy recovery of their patients some of which are trauma therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, relapse prevention, behavioral therapies, and group meetings, etc. Although this is an outpatient treatment facility, Set Free Alaska refers patients who are in need of the services not rendered at this facility to a nearby facility that offers the required services depending on the patient’s needs.
At Set Free Alaska, patients admitted are treated with the utmost care and respect that’s why this facility does not spare resources in providing their patients with qualified staffs who are experts in their various fields of practice. Each staff is certified and licensed to treat patients who are suffering from any form of addiction issues.

Treatment Options at Set Free Alaska

At Set Free Alaska, patients are offered a treatment plan specifically designed and structured to suit them individually and to enable them to recover properly. Each patient must undergo an initial assessment by the facility’s counselor which has a duration of an hour and a half and also comes with its own price tag, and are given their individual plan which influenced by the results from the assessments made.
The treatment options offered at this facility are stretched for nine hours each week, and patients can choose either to come during the day or at night. This is in order for patients who go to work or school to easily fix their schedules and not miss out on any of the activities.
Some treatment options such as inpatient treatment, sober living homes, and medical assisted detox are not available at this facility, but patients who are in need of such services are immediately referred to a nearby rehabilitation facility that does.
