Overview of The River Source Integrative Recovery Center

The River Source Integrative Recovery Center provides healing and treatment services to adults for substance abuse and behavioral health issues. The mission of The River Source Center is to offer drug and alcohol treatment to individuals through a holistic treatment philosophy. Based on this philosophy, clients are offered treatment that not only targets the body of the patients but also focuses on their minds, spirits, and emotional well-being. The values that the center and every member of the staff upholds are responsibility, improvement, open communication, support, and service-oriented treatment. The treatment programs at the center comprise detox, intensive outpatient, and inpatient programs. The programs help clients in restoring the balance in their lives through three steps. In the first step, the body is healed through a medical and naturopathic approach. In the second step, the minds are healed and the connection between mind and body is revived. In the third and last step, clients’ spirits are healed through spiritual awakening and 12-step programming. Holistic treatment approaches are employed in which clients are provided with opportunities for activities like yoga, meditation, and hiking. These approaches help clients heal physically, psychologically, and emotionally so that they become productive, happy, and healthy members of the community.
