Accomodation & Schedules

Meadows treatment facility exists in the McDowell Mountains of North Scottsdale, Arizona and boasts of a facility of over 6,200-square-foot. The facility possesses a simple style of accommodation with each resident requiring a roommate. All rooms are tended to and cleaned daily by the maids and have air conditioning. Residents are afforded the time to meditate, work out (daily yoga, gym, swimming) before breakfast. Before lunch, the residents are encouraged to get involved in individual, group and spiritual practices. Lunchtime can also serve as a time for critical assessment when residents can express their feelings and problems with staff, therapists or counselors.
The afternoon time is scattered with a lot of activities including group sessions which address particular issues, individual therapies, and fitness and swimming sessions. Also, depending on their specific schedules patients are free to attend various lectures, workshops, and seminars. The facility offers a menu of well-balanced, healthy meals throughout the day to assist the residents to achieve a well-rounded and lasting recovery. Dinner time is usually set aside for clients to learn about healthy eating habits, techniques for achieving wellness and socializing with peers and counselors. After dinner, patients are allowed to have nightly meditations and engage in the 12-step therapy model.

Survivor I

This is the center’s signature form of treatment that helps patients to examine the complexities of trauma and recognize the direct cause of harmful behaviors like addiction, self-harm and self-sabotaging. Its primary focus is to help patients who participate in the workshop let go of negative ideas and messages which they have grown up with from childhood and been conditioned to accept as reality, allowing them the freedom to be whole.

Survivor II

This part of the program has been suited to meet the individual needs of patients and offer them solutions to self-destructive patterns and past childhood trauma.

12-Step Program

Although a common model of addiction treatment, the facility engages patients in an extensive 12-step program based on self-empowerment which teaches them how to prevent a relapse and teach them better self-control.
Outpatient Treatment Program
The outpatient treatment program offered by the facility is structured to accommodate the growth of the individual on a flexible schedule while helping the individual blend easily into society and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Finance

The Meadows costs around $1,257-$1,500 per day or $37,710 for a 30-day inpatient treatment. Payments are advised by the facility to be made privately because the costs can run a little high but they can work with private insurance provided. Lending options such as loans are also available for clients willing to take loans to help pay for treatment. The facility offers different programs which makes pricing for the treatments vary.
When the insurance plan provided cannot cover the cost of the treatment, clients can contact the administrative department or finance coordinators to help analyze and make arrangements to fit the client’s needs.

The Meadows is licensed by The Joint Commission National Quality Approval with the “Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).”

The facility has multiple branches all around the state of Arizona, focusing and specializing in different issues. These branches are called campuses and some of them are; Gentle Path at The Meadows which focuses on the dangers of sex addiction and helping male clients having such problems, Claudia Black Adult Center is also a branch of the facility which focuses on aiding young adults through the path of healing from multiple addictions such as gaming addictions, alcohol addiction, and various also dual diagnosis (addiction and mental health disorder).

He is very passionate about the quality of care given to addiction and mental health patients especially those registered at The Meadows.
Dr. David Anderson
Executive Director
David, holding a Ph.D. from the South Florida University majoring in Clinical and Community Psychology, has a deep interest in the provision of quality health care, aiding individuals to become better versions of themselves through therapy and psychological assessments. David has been in the behavioral health sector for almost 40 years, gaining multiple experiences and handling mostly executive positions in treatment facilities and academic organizations.
Deirdre Stewart LPC, BCN, SEP
Director of Trauma Resolution Services
Deirdre holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University in California majoring in Communications and a Master’s degree from the University of New England majoring in Counseling. She has multiple internships from various facilities and organizations such as Silver Hill Hospital, Pacific Private and more. She is licensed by the state of Arizona to be a Clinical Professional and has various training in both SE and EMDR.
