Overview of Valley Hope of Atchison

Valley Hope of Atchison is a nonprofit organization that has been providing treatment to people who are suffering from substance use disorder since 1967. This facility is located in Atchison just 30 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Kansas City. This treatment center is part of the bigger unit Valley Hope Association.
The facility believes that no two individuals can be similar and hence, the treatment cannot be either. It should be varied from one person to the other based on their gender, age, mindset, relationships, and the substance abuse extent. Valley Hope of Atchison provides residential treatment, day treatment, and medically monitored detox in a quiet and rural setting.
The treatment program at this facility lasts about 21-30 days along with an on-site detox program if needed. Before that, an individual has to go through a nursing assessment, physical exam, psychological screening assessment, and psycho-social history so that the facility can formulate the treatment based on the individual’s needs and requirements.
The mission of Valley Hope of Atchison is to offer a quality continuum of comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment and other related services in a suitable environment at an affordable price to all people who are experiencing drug and alcohol use problems.
