Housing and Food at Clean Path Behavioral Health

The residential treatment facility located at Costa Mesa, California offers a home-like and stress-free environment to clients where they can focus on their treatment without any distractions or work stressors from the outside world. There are small units where groups of residents stay and take part in the treatment programs. Clients stay in semi-private rooms shared between two residents. All rooms are comfortably furnished with twin beds, nightstands, lamps, and closets for each client. Each room has an attached bathroom with bathtub, shower, and two sinks. All basic amenities are provided by the center. Living rooms are comfortable and cozy where clients can relax and unwind. The center also offers beautiful outdoor courtyards and lawns where clients can enjoy the sunshine and feel closer to nature. A number of recreational activities are encouraged by the center including music, arts and crafts, beach volleyball, surfing, yoga, canoeing, and other nature experiences. Each unit has a state-of-the-art kitchen where an in-house chef prepares nutritious and healthy cuisines for residents. Residents eat three times a day in the dining room of each unit. The chef also accommodates special dietary specifications and requests of clients. Snacks and beverages are also available through vending machines in each unit.

Lee is the founder of Clean Path Recovery and creates a supportive and safe environment for clients to begin their journey of recovery. Lee suffered the loss of his brother at the hands of addiction after which he vowed to do something substantial to help individuals struggling with addiction and dual-diagnosis disorders. He leads the entire team to perform with excellence to make Clean Path one of the leading treatment service providers of the country.

Mel Herst, LMFT
Clinical Director

Mel Herst is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). His areas of expertise include working with dual-diagnosis clients, trauma, and addiction. He has extensive experience working with children struggling with childhood trauma and developmental delays in both inpatient and outpatient setups.

Kristin DiSanzo
Detox Director

Kristin has over 13 years of experience working in the behavioral healthcare field. She earned her nursing degree from the Stanbridge University. She also has a Human Services Certificate in Addiction Studies from Saddleback College. She is a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor.
