Central Florida Teen Challenge Men’s Center is one of the facilities of Teen Challenge, a rehab center group founded by David Wilkerson. Wilkerson was a preacher from Pennsylvania, who wanted to reduce drug addiction among teenagers in New York City. His entire program was completely faith-based and it remains that way to this day. The center is located in Sanford, and the main goal of the program is to help young adults overcome substance abuse addiction through the use Christian faith based treatment program. The length of the stay is minimum one year.
The in-patient facility has the capacity for 80 residents. They live in dorms, and each dorm has 20 beds. Later during the program, residents can earn more privacy and stay in semi-private rooms. Meals are quite simple, and clients eat together in the cafeteria.

When the resident completes the program, they can remain on campus and attend support meetings. They move to apartments and are obligated to work and live a Christian lifestyle.
Rules and Regulations in Central Florida Teen Challenge Men’s Center
In order to be admitted to the Central Florida Teen Challenge Men’s Center, clients have to be at least 18 years old.
The day begins at 6 AM with breakfast, after which residents go to chapel service at 7 AM and Bible study. Before lunch, clients have some free time to relax or exercise. After the meal, residents do their daily chores on-site. After dinner, they attend another chapel service. The lights are out at 10:30 PM.
The cost of a 30-day stay in the center is $2,100.
