Overview of the Blackberry Center

The Blackberry Center provides substance abuse rehabilitation to both men and women. It was established in 2014 by former electrifying Baseball right fielder, Darryl Strawberry and his wife, Tracy Boulware. It is also known by its other name, Darryl Strawberry Recovery Center. The facility is located in Beehive Circle Drive, in St. Cloud, Florida.
In 2015, the Blackberry Center opened another facility by the same name in DeLand, Florida. Darryl Strawberry was a renowned player who has played with various teams throughout his career of Major League Baseball. He won World Series championships four times and was voted to be All-Star games eight times. When he would be on the field, he could do no wrong. However, he was struggling with addiction off the field.
Darryl Strawberry Recovery Center offers a tranquil and soothing setting that provides the best environment to its inhabitants. It provides psychiatric services to patients 24*7 with the help of licensed professionals. The facility proposes various inpatient and outpatient programs based on an individual’s needs to conquer addictions to drugs, prescription drugs, and alcohol. The Blackberry Center offers accommodation facilities at both its recovery centers. The facility in St. Cloud can accommodate 75 clients while the one in DeLand can accommodate up to 33 clients. The DSRC at St. Cloud, Florida is a 64-bed facility that houses inpatient clients in order to provide them with a retreat-like environment.
The rooms at the DSRC are well-furnished with all modern amenities. Clients are lodged in gender-specific areas, where they have to share rooms with another client. One room comprises a twin bed along with a wooden headboard and base that comes with drawers. Other furniture includes a desk, small nightstand, lamp, and chair. Walls are painted with light colors that add a sense of spaciousness to the rooms.
When it comes to food, clients do not have to worry much. The facility serves three meals a day to clients in a dining room. There are various options available for vegetarian clients. If clients have any dietary restrictions, they can be accommodated whenever needed.
