House of Hope, Inc., located in the city of Mankato, Minnesota, is a residential and non-residential treatment facility for adult men and women looking to overcome mental health and addiction issues. The center has existed for more than four decades and initially began in 1971 as a men’s halfway house for persons dealing with chemical dependency problems. In October of 2006, the center expanded its services to include a women’s residential program. The organization operates in about three locations in Minnesota including an adult co-ed facility in Fairmont and others in Mankato. The organization provides a 29-bed residential facility for men and 9-bed residential facility for women, both of which exist in Mankato. A co-ed program is also offered in Fairmont, Minnesota which is capable of accommodating up to 26 persons. The bedrooms are furnished with 5-7 dressers, nightstands, and wardrobes and offer double-occupancy. Each of the facilities has a dining, living room with TVs and a fully-equipped kitchen.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, group sessions are held, and individual and family therapy services are also offered.

Dean has over 28 years of experience working in the behavioral health sector and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He joined the facility as the Executive Director in 2015 and is passionate about helping clients find support and discovery. He is licensed to by the state of Minnesota to be an Alcohol and Drug Counselor for about 18 years.

Mark Johnson
Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer

Mark joined the facility in 2010 and currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer. Prior to that, he has served in other capacities such as Marketing Director before being promoted. He has over 20 years of experience working in managerial positions at different organizations. He is very passionate about helping individuals suffering from substance abuse and mental health issues, which in turn helps them find support and begin the journey to long-term recovery.

Arlene Kreutzer
Executive Vice President (Finance)

Arlene joined the facility in 2005 and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President. Prior to that, she served in other capacities at different organizations such as beverage business. She began with the facility when the facility only has a facility with 29 beds. She is passionate about helping women find support and recovery.
