In the program, teens are evaluated, educated and treated to prepare them for a healthy future. The hospital is a proud supporter of the National Alliance on Suicide Prevention and offers educational lectures and awareness programs to the community in this regard. Housing and Food at Intermountain Hospital

Located near the foothills of the beautiful Boise mountains in Idaho is the Intermountain Hospital. It is spread across 10 acres of green land that offers beautiful views and scenery. The building’s interior features natural colors and portrays a comfortable and relaxing environment. It is a 30-bed facility with semi-private rooms for residents. Each room is shared between two residents. Rooms are spacious and furnished with twin sized beds, dressers and shared closets. Bathrooms contain all basic amenities and are also shared among residents. The rooms are segregated based on gender. The facility has an exercise room with basic equipment to help residents maintain physical fitness. A common room equipped with a flat-screen TV serves as a place of relaxation and movie nights. The outside lawns and courtyards provide residents with beautiful and relaxing views where they can read, meditate or simply benefit from the healing power of nature. The hospital has a kitchen staff and a licensed nutritionist. The nutritionist creates healthy menus and the kitchen staff prepares meals. Meals are served in the cafeteria three times a day. A number of food options, a salad bar, and drinks are available to clients. Snacks are also available between meal times.

These services range from partial hospitalization to intensive outpatient to residential treatment. Each patient is evaluated and an individualized treatment plan is created for him/her. The normal duration of residential treatment is 28 days for which the cost is approximately $15,225. This may vary from patient to patient. Intermountain Hospital accepts most private insurance plans. Medicare also covers the mature adults’ program at Intermountain hospital.
