The Chrysalis’ residential facility houses about 16 – 20 women, not including infants. Residents without offspring’s stay in shared rooms which is comfortable enough for the residents. Children aged under two are left with their mothers while the grown-up kids can visit or spend weekends as far as it doesn’t get in the way of treatment schedules and school. Residents can watch TV and use their electronic devices for a period of time. There is also a dining room and large living areas. The long-term housing programs include a 12 unit and a 40 unit complex made up of two or three bedroom apartments. Female residents seeking to live independently with their families from a drug-free and safe environment can find affordable housing for themselves and their family.
Household chores like cooking are spread amongst residents, but staffs are there to supervise the cooking too. Food is basic but nutritious enough to be eaten while children meals are also provided and snacks are made available too.
