Overview of Manatee Glens

Manatee Glens, located in the city of Bradenton, south of Tampa is a behavioral health center for individuals suffering from addiction, substance abuse, and mental health disorders. The facility became a part of the Centerstone Behavioral Hospital and Addiction Center in 2015 and expanded its reach to thousands to people in Florida. The facility focuses on the health and wellness of its clients and believes that although there are multiple paths to recovery, each patient has their own individual path. For this reason, treatment plans are tailored to suit the wants, goals, and needs of a client. The facility provides a support system for adults struggling with addiction which helps them bounce back from relapse and achieve set goals. The facility also has programs for teens, less intensive than the adult services, which seeks to help substance-addicted, struggling youth achieve long-lasting recovery. The hospital offers emergency mental health services and has special programs for persons suffering from trauma, suicidal thoughts, and co-occurring mental disorders. Patients are offered Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) which may include drugs like anti-depressants and mood stabilizers to guide them into a comfortable detoxification process. Residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are also made available for patients.

Housing and Food at Manatee Glens

The facility is located within the Centerstone Hospital and so, clients should expect a sterile and tidy environment. A residential unit capable of accommodating up to twenty individuals exists at the facility and these residents have a single floor to themselves. Most activities are usually done in this unit—eating, sleeping, and therapy. Residents are usually two in a room and the hospital provides group rooms where talk therapy and lectures take place. The hospital is a tobacco-free and no smoking environment and clients are prohibited from leaving the facility during their stay. Clients are to bring along comfortable clothes, their own pillows, and blankets, a small amount of cash for the vending machines, sleepwear, and toiletries. Small electronic equipment like iPods and blow dryers are also allowed. Cell phones, laptops, and alcohol-based products are prohibited. The hospital has a courtyard and a small weight room for residents to utilize. Meals are provided thrice daily and prepared in the cafeteria. Accommodations can be made for special diets.

Treatment Options

Partial Hospitalization Program

This is a program which offers all the perks of residential care and is tailored for clients who do not need to stay in the residential program. Each patient’s discharge is dependent on their ability to function wholly without mood-altering substances. Patient’s length of stay may vary.

Pricing

Manatee Glens Hospital which is now known as Cornerstone Behavioral Health and Addiction Center costs approximately $10,500 for a 30-day treatment depending greatly on what program the client is currently registered into. The treatment center is in-network with multiple insurance providers, major and minor. Clients are advised to call the facility as the finance team is available to answer questions concerning insurance coverage, benefit, and payment plans. Clients are to contact their insurance providers on treatments that are covered by the insurance. This is to ease the communication between the hospital’s finance team and insurance provider and to help both discover the best option for the client.
Although the facility accepts Tricare and Medicare, Private Pay and Co-pay finance options are available.

Accreditation

The facility is accredited and recognized by The Joint Commission.

Manatee Glens Advantages

Discharge plans such as community support group meetings and family counseling are offered to clients and their loved ones after the completion of an inpatient program. The scheduled visiting times are Mondays to Thursdays between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm and visitors bringing in children below 12 years old must gain approval from the staff in charge before coming to visit. The hospital which merged with Cornerstone Behavioral Health provides 24-hours medical care to patients admitted in the facility and also follows a strict set of rules daily that patients must adhere to. Clients that prefer a center with fewer restrictions and more outdoor time might not find this facility to be the best option. Clients living around the area might find this facility to be a good option as it costs a reasonably lesser to get treatment in comparison to other treatment centers.
