Hamilton House aims to help clients reintegrate into the community, gain full-time employment, adapt to independent living, and get their lives back. Clients being housed at the facility are required to be registered at an outpatient treatment facility and must attend house meetings before joining the working phase. The outpatient program is typically a 10 to 12-day process and clients are required to participate in both group and individual therapy. The treatment technique used during treatment is Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical behavioral therapy, 12-step, and Cognitive behavioral therapy. Accommodation And Food

Clients are housed in a 22-bed facility that offers a family style décor. Clients are expected to share a room as each bedroom comes with two or three twin beds, a bedside dresser, and a closet. The house also features other amenities such as a dining room, shared bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Smoking is allowed but only at designated areas outside the facility. Clients are permitted to visit the local gym, as there is no on-site workout area.
Clients are entitled to dinner from Monday through Fridays, although during the weekends and for breakfast and lunch, they are left to sort themselves out.
