Brian Spitsbergen
Director of Community Relations

Brian Spitsbergen serves the Growth Works team as Director of Community Relations. He is a dedicated member of Growth Works from the past 24 years. He completed his master’s in Substance Abuse and Addiction Counseling from the University of Detroit Mercy. He holds a doctorate degree in Counselor Education from Oakland University. He is also a licensed advanced alcohol and drug counselor. Spitsbergen is serving in the field of human services for over 25 years.

Klotz Jessica
Program Director

Klotz Jessica serves the Growth Works team as Program Director. She is a member of Growth Works from the past 18 years. She joined this facility as ARTx Operations Supervisor in January 2001. She became the Program Director in December 2015. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). She completed her bachelor’s degree in Community Organization from the University of Michigan.

Nick Griswold
Chief Financial Officer

Nick Griswold joined the team of Growth Works as Chief Administrative Officer in February 2017. He now serves the board as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Growth Works, he served as Elections Committee Chair at Michigan School Business Officials. Griswold was even the President of Wayne County School Business Officials till January 2017. He completed his bachelor’s degree from the Ferris State University.
