This form of treatment is similar to an IOP (Intensive Care Program) in daily treatment hours but FTF is much shorter in duration. FTF uses an interventionist approach to treatment which lasts only about there to seven days. Regardless of the method of their treatment plan, all programs still work within the structure of group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy. New Oakland Family centers also use evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and CBT.
At New Oakland Family centers, their standard outpatient program meets either once a week or once a month. Their IOP meets up to three times a week and their meetings last close to about 3 hours for each meeting.

Ismail B. Sendi – Founder and Former CEO
