Overview of Farnum Center

Farnum Center is a private rehabilitation center for adults suffering from alcohol and drug abuse. The mission at Farnum Center is to offer treatment services to individuals suffering from the effects of alcoholism and drug addiction, and help them and their families to achieve a healthy and sober life. Farnum Center uses a unique approach to treatment that is based on the three principles of Mind, Thought, and Consciousness. Through this approach, clients are taught ways on how to use their innate capacity to overcome addiction and embark on the road to recovery. The philosophy behind this approach is known as Health Realization in which clients are enabled to find their inner resilience against addiction and become a better, happier, and sober person. Using research-based therapies, clients are able to leave their past behind and look at the future from a completely new perspective. The unique needs and situation of each client are kept under consideration while devising personalized treatment plans and therapies. The compassionate and dedicated staff at the center works together with clients and families to help them achieve sobriety and happiness in an alcohol and drug-free life. The center offers Detoxification, Inpatient, Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Medication Assisted Treatment.

Housing and Food at Farnum Center

The Manchester Campus of Farnum Center is located on three acres of land that offers luxurious amenities to its residents. The residential lodges offer a warm and spacious environment where residents feel relaxed and peaceful. This gives them the opportunity to solely focus on their recovery without any stress or distractions. Clients stay in two-bedroom suites that have attached private bathrooms. Suites for men and women are located at different sides of the building. The rooms are furnished beautifully with twin beds, dressers, closets, and all basic amenities available for residents. The facility has an in-ground pool, basketball court, and a sand volleyball court which gives residents a healthy option of outdoor activities. The center also organizes off-sits tripe of residents to museums, meetings, recreational sports, and other recovery events. There are in-house chef and kitchen staff who prepare nutritious and delicious meals for residents. Meals are then served in the cafeteria where everyone eats together three times a day. Special emphasis is made on the quality and deliciousness of food prepared at the facility. Dietary restrictions of clients are also kept in consideration during preparation of meals. Snacks are available throughout the day through vending machines.

Payment Options at Farnum Center

Farnum Center offers a number of treatment programs to adult men and women suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. The center offers a luxurious facility where clients can start their journey to healing and recovery. Each patient is assigned a particular treatment plan depending on his/her needs and preferences. The cost of treatment is approximately $12,000 for 30 days of residential treatment. The cost of Detox is $600 per day. Farnum center accepts plans of many insurance companies. Indigent clients are also given financial assistance if they qualify. The experienced staff carries out all the required procedures to find the best insurance coverage for clients.

Chief Operating Officer

Cheryl Wilkie joined Farnum Center in 2008 as the Chief Operating Officer. She has extensive experience in the fields of business management and healthcare advocacy. She excels in her leadership and empowers patients to recognize their true potential. She guides all staff, clients, and families in their pathway to recovery.

Christine Weber
Vice President of Operations

Christine has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire. She is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. Before joining Farnum Center, she worked in 3rd party billing and project management. She has been offering her services at Farnum Center since 2005.

Dennis Theriault
Vice President of Substance Abuse Services

Dennis has extensive experience in the behavioral healthcare field where he has served on numerous administrative and leadership roles. His areas of expertise include working in inpatient and outpatient settings. Before joining Farnum Center in 2018, he served as an accreditation surveyor with CARF. He, therefore, brings with him expertise on how to improve quality of service at the center and oversee all aspects of business operations.
