The Serenity at Summit was founded in 2014 by Dr. Patricia Allen and Dr. Thomas Allen. They desired to help people battling with alcoholism and other forms of addiction to get holistic treatment. The facility has developed strategies that allow safe withdrawal from addiction, counseling to help patients achieve and maintain abstinence, and long-term support follow-up to prevent addiction relapse.

To help achieve treatment for the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), they have also invested in massage, meditation, Reiki, yoga, and acupuncture programs for the patients. The clients also get to enjoy a wide range of therapies such as Art, Pet & Music Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The fully-licensed professionals at Serenity at Summit are dedicated and equipped to help and guide people struggling with substance abuse on their way to recovery.

Accommodation and Food Services at Serenity at Summit

Serenity at Summit has their residential treatment center in Union, New Jersey. It is in a quiet and serene environment ideal for patients recovering from substance abuse.

The facility has both private and semi-private furnished rooms to cater to the various needs and preferences of clients. Each room has a full and queen-sized bed, dresser, night stand, flat screen TV, and a desk. There are 21-beds for residential treatment and 20-bed to cater for detox patients. The clients also get to enjoy private concierge services.

The facility has invested in massage, yoga, acupuncture, reiki and meditation amenities to provide clinical and holistic care. There is a lounge for clients to watch movies or just relax and a gym with cardio machines. The gardens are well-manicured to boost ambiance and tranquility. The serene and relaxing environment Serenity at Summit provides is ideal for the patients to focus on healing and total recovery.

The dining room is spacious and well-arranged. The facility provides their clients with buffet style chef-prepared meals. The meals are well-balanced and are served three times a day; breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also the option of private dining upon request.

Serenity at Summit provides affordable services and gives the clients several payment options. The accepted payment methods are cash, check, American Express, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.

Apart from paying cash, clients can also pay using insurance cover, or choose a loan program that fits their needs. For the loans, there are two options; Standard and Exceptional. The Standard options gives clients $2,000 – $40,000 at 6.95% – 36.00% annual percentage rates (APR) while the Exceptional option one gets $20,000 – $100,000 at 5.49% – 14.24% APR.

Serenity at Summit has a policy that clients receiving intensive outpatient services on an ongoing basis and paying cash that allows them to pay monthly.

Dr. Patricia Allen is the co-founder of Summit and has been in this drug addiction treatment facility since its inception in September 2014. She specializes in psychiatric and mental health nursing and occupational health. She excels in dealing with patients with addictive problems to offer them long-lasting tailored substance abuse solutions. At Serenity at Summit, she ensures the staff follows the set guidelines and strategies to provide the clients with high-quality services.
