Overview of Awake & Aware, LLC

Awake & Aware was founded in 2009 and since then has been offering comprehensive and high-quality counseling services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families for behavioral health disorders. The mission at Awake and Aware is to help individuals and families improve the quality of their lives and decrease their suffering through acceptance, change, and mindful awareness. The center truly believes that acceptance is the first step towards healing when a person is accepted irrespective of his addiction or behavioral disorders without any judgment or criticisms attached. After acceptance comes change which is achieved through the dedicated efforts of the staff members who help clients identify their underlying issues and change their thinking and behavior for the better. Through holistic approaches to treatment and evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, clients are empowered to become whole as they embrace the change and move towards transformation and recovery. The center offers outpatient treatment services to individuals in separate programs categorized based on age. These age-specific programs ensure that each client is treated as an individual and treatment plans are created accordingly. The center creates a welcoming, nurturing, and integrative environment for clients where they can start their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual healing journey.
