Chambers & Blohm Psychological Services, P.C. offers outpatient treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults for addiction, substance abuse, and co-occurring behavioral health disorders. It was established in 2001 as a qualified mental health care facility. The mission at Chambers & Blohm is to improve the lives of individuals and their families by promoting wellness and treatment for a number of mental health issues. The philosophy at Chambers & Blohm is to offer treatment services to clients irrespective of their age, gender, background and socioeconomic status. The staff at the center is comprised of highly-trained and experienced healthcare professionals who adhere to the values of honesty, integrity, excellence, and accountability in service. The center offers psychological services to adolescents and adults for issues such as depression, anxiety, social skills, eating disorders, stress, grief, suicidal thoughts, self-injury, and other psychological disorders. The children’s program targets issues such as autism spectrum and developmental issues, adoption issues, sleep problems, school concerns, disruptive or defiant behavior, and coping issues. The center also offers family & marriage counseling along with sexual health education. Through this wide spectrum of psychological services, individuals and families are able to reclaim their lives and foster good relationships among themselves and in the community.

Housing and Food at Chambers & Blohm

Chambers & Blohm Psychological Services, P.C. is located in Bismarck, North Dakota in a modern setting. The campus is comprised of one huge building that is constructed in modern architecture. The interiors of the building are also state-of-the-art and offer treatment services in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The private and secure environment serves as a perfect place for clients to begin their healing journey. Since the center only offers outpatient services, there are no accommodation facilities for clients. The building is comprised of administrative offices and meeting rooms where different therapy and counseling sessions are carried out. There are separate common rooms for children, adolescents, and adults which are decorated beautifully according to the residents of that room. All common rooms are comfortable and cozy and provide means of recreation such as books and TV for clients. The center also provides recreational opportunities for clients including sports and leisure activities. There is a cafeteria at the campus where an in-house kitchen staff provides snacks and drinks to clients and families. Lunch and dinner are also available at the cafeteria for clients who are undergoing treatment during that time at the campus. Snacks and beverages are available throughout the day during open hours at the facility.

Payment Options at Chambers & Blohm

Chambers & Blohm provides individualized treatment plans to children, adolescents, and adults for substance abuse and mental health issues. The cost of an assessment is $250, the cost of one session of group therapy is $90, and the cost of individual therapy is $120-$200 per session. The center accepts insurance claims of most of the major companies including Medicare and Medicaid. The details of all costs and financial information can be acquired from the admissions office. The staff at the admissions office helps clients in finding the best insurance coverage for the treatment to make it affordable for them.

The center promotes wellness through evidence-based and historically-proven treatment modalities that help clients heal physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Clients are offered individual, group, and family therapy through which they can learn to leave their old habits. They are able to rebuild broken relationships and sustain the recovery they achieved during treatment. The center also encourages participation in 12-step meetings so that client’s mind, body, and spirit could be healed. The center offers aftercare services to clients which help them prevent relapse and continue on the path to recovery.

Kathy Blohm, PhD
Founder/ Licensed Psychologist

Kathy has a Master’s degree from the College of St. Benedict and a PhD. from the California School of Professional Psychology-Alameda. She has extensive experience working with patients of anxiety, mood, and eating disorders. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She is also the only Board Certified Sex Therapist (AASECT) in western North Dakota.

Deb Bosch, LICSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Deb has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Mary. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska. She completed her Associate’s degree in Mental Health from the University of Mary. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience working with individuals of various age groups suffering from behavioral health disorders.

Julijana Nevland, Ph.D
Psychologist

Dr. Julijana received her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota. She has specialized training in neuropsychological and forensic assessment, suicide prevention, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and treatment of severe mental illnesses. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, and other psychological issues.
