Overview of Rob’s Ranch

Rob’s Ranch is a Christian rehab facility that helps men struggling with substance abuse find hope and healing in life. The mission at Rob’s Ranch is to influence the lives of men suffering from alcohol and drug addiction by providing hope and guidance to them and their families. At Rob’s Ranch, the curriculum is based on the 12-step recovery process and the principle that establishing a strong connection with God is paramount in achieving lasting healing and recovery. The center offers a post-acute addiction treatment program where they are provided with the best counseling and care. Clients are offered educational lectures, counseling, and life-skills training which helps them restore their health and freedom from addiction. Clients attend spiritual therapy as well as worship and prayers at the Church which helps heal their spirit along with mind and body. The staff members at Rob’s Ranch are highly experienced in counseling and provide individual and group counseling to clients.

Housing and Food at Rob’s Ranch

Rob’s Ranch is located on 72 acres of a beautiful ranch situated in Purcell, Oklahoma. The campus offers a country setting with farms, lawns, and a lake. Clients stay in houses built in red brick architecture. The facility can accommodate 26 patients at one time. Two patients share a room which is furnished with twin beds, a shared closet, a fridge, and nightstands. Each room has an attached bathroom with a shower. There is a common room which is furnished with leather sofas, table, and contain a TV. Clients can relax in the common room in their downtime. There is an indoor gym at the center where clients can achieve physical fitness. There is a small Church on the campus premises where worship and prayers are carried out. The beautiful landscape and lake of the campus offer a peaceful and relaxing environment to clients where they can focus on their treatment without any distractions. There is an in-house chef at the center who is a fitness trainer himself. He creates healthy menus for clients while taking into consideration their choices and any dietary restrictions. Meals are served in the long dining hall where all clients eat together. They have a variety of food options to choose from including assorted salad bars at lunch and dinner.

Payment Options at Rob’s Ranch

Rob’s Ranch offers men struggling with alcohol and substance abuse an opportunity for healing and recovery at affordable rates. The approximate cost of treatment is $4,500 for 30 days. Clients are provided with good accommodation, meals, and recreational facilities as part of treatment. Since the center does not provide medical services, insurance companies do not provide any plans for reimbursements of treatment costs at Rob’s Ranch. The admissions staff at the center provides all relevant financial information to clients and families so that they can make an informed decision. For clients who are unable to pay for treatment, there is the option of payment through some funding options.

With over 80 years of combined experience, the counselors at the center excel in providing counseling services to clients and families. Families are able to reconnect with each other and mend relationships severed by addiction. The center utilizes tried-and-tested therapies which help clients change their behavior and attitude towards life. They are taught to become responsible and productive individuals so that they can support themselves independently after leaving the facility. Clients are also offered aftercare support free-of-charge to help them stay sober and prevent relapse.

Doug Hayes
Program Manager

Doug has a BBA in Marketing from U.C.O. He went through the negative effects of addiction in his life after which he enrolled at Rob’s Ranch for treatment. There, he discovered his connection with God which led him to achieve recovery. He eventually became a staff member at the facility where he now uses his skills and experience to help hundreds of men reclaim their lives and come closer to the word of God.

Bruce Kaup
Assistant Director/ Counselor

Bruce has over 30 years of experience in the Chemical Addiction Counseling field. He is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC). Before joining Rob’s Ranch, Bruce served as a staff counselor and assistant program director at Valley Hope and Cushing centers. He has been in recovery himself for the past 34 years. Using his personal journey of recovery as a guideline and the experience of counseling for the last thirty years, he is considered as one of the best counselors in the industry.

Mark Vickers
Clinical Director/ Counselor

Mark has a Master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. He is in recovery for more than 10 years himself. He uses the 12-step philosophy to help hundreds of individuals in finding hope and healing from addiction and substance abuse.
