Summit Oaks Hospital started in 1902 and has been providing treatment and care for patients suffering from mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders for more than a decade. The facility has programs designed for children of very young ages, adolescents 13-17, and adults 18 and older suffering from these illnesses. Summit Oaks boasts of their multidisciplinary staffs which include experienced mental health professionals ranging from psychiatrists, clinicians, and psychologists to Masters-level counselors. The hospital is open 24/7, 7 days a week and specializes in mental health disorders like depressive disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and psychosis and offers group and individual therapy, recreational therapy, medication management, and a host of other treatment options. The facility offers free and confidential assessments for individuals suffering from addiction and/or mental illness. After the assessment stage, the hospital provides an individualized treatment plan to aid in the patient’s full recovery. The hospital also offers an alcohol and drug detoxification program on-site, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, and partial hospitalization program, categorized by age and tailored to meet each individual patient at their point of need. The facility may also be inclined to provide patients with holistic treatment options if necessary, which may include meditation and art therapy. The hospital offers clients with both shared and private style of accommodation. Meals are provided by the hospital three times a day which includes snack and special diets can also be made available. To partake in the inpatient treatment program, individuals should be between 21-65 years of age and should be at least 21 years for the outpatient program.

Detoxification

This is a form of short-term treatment provided by the hospital as the first step for clients suffering from substance abuse and chemical dependency issues. The process is medically managed and supplemented with various therapy options.

Inpatient Treatment

This occurs after patients have gone through the detoxification period and have been evaluated and assessed. The program includes individual and group therapy sessions, holistic treatment methods like yoga, and counseling.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Pricing

Summit Oaks cost varies greatly depending on the program a client is registered in. Clients are advised to call the hospital as experienced professionals are available to answer any question regarding payments and insurances. The hospital is in-network with multiple insurance providers and accepts private payments. However Medicare and Medicaid can be used but not accepted for patients between the ages of 21 to 65 years for the inpatient programs and for outpatient services, it is accepted for clients 21 years and older. Tricare is also accepted. The treatment center contacts the client’s insurer and uses single case contracts if it is an out-of-network insurance provider. Medicare is not accepted as payment or insurance for substance abuse rehabilitation treatment for an inpatient program and for a rehab program, Medicaid is not accepted as well.

The treatment center is licensed and accredited The National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention and The Joint Commission National Quality Approval. The center is also Tricare certified.
