Overview of JourneyPure

JourneyPure at the River is a premier addiction recovery treatment center that offers services for substance abuse and mental health disorders. The mission of JourneyPure is to help clients get healthy and stay healthy through modern treatment approaches and fresh ideas. The center offers quality clinical and medical services to adult men and women who want to live a healthy life and leave their habits of addiction. The center utilizes a trauma-informed, fully integrated dual-diagnosis model that employs an individualized approach to treat each client. Treatment is focussed on not only treating the symptoms but the emotional, psychological, and physical aspect of each client’s healing. The center offers a number of treatment programs including detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and gender-specific treatment programs. The treatment programs utilize holistic approaches and evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR therapy, experiential therapy, and others. The center also offers an alumni program through which support is extended to all alumni to help them prevent relapse. For this purpose, JourneyPure also has a mobile application through which alumni and clients are in contact with a personal recovery coach. Through this app, alumni have access to nutritional guidance, collaborative care, and a daily recovery log.

Housing and Food at JourneyPure

JourneyPure at the River is located on 127 acres of sprawling scenic landscapes on the West Fork of the Stones River in Nashville. The campus offers beautiful and therapeutic views through a breathtaking lake and forests. The campus comprises rustic lodges which can accommodate a total of 70 clients. Each lodge has four bedrooms with three clients sharing each bedroom. The bedrooms consist of modern furnishing with twin beds, side tables, closets, and chairs for each client. Every room has an attached bathroom with luxurious amenities provided. Each lodge has an indoor common area furnished with leather sofas and sofa chairs. The common rooms are beautiful with fireplaces, large windows, and wooden floors. A living room is also available where clients can relax and watch TV in their free time. There is an open deck on each lodge where clients can enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. An outdoor group meeting area is also provided right beside the lake. Each lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining area. An in-house dietician helps clients in creating healthy and balanced menus. Residents are responsible for preparing their meals three times a day under the supervision of the dietician. Residents are provided quality organic food upon request. All residents eat together in the dining area.
