Samaritan Recovery Community is a rehabilitation center that has provided treatment services for alcohol and drug abuse since 1964. The mission at Samaritan Recovery Community is to help individuals struggling with alcohol, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health disorders by providing them the highest quality of care. The center offers intensive residential, intensive outpatient, family program, and co-occurring disorders program. Samaritan Recovery also provides transitional housing, supportive housing, and an alumni program through which clients are offered support and assistance in living a healthy and drug-free life. The staff at the center comprise experienced and qualified healthcare professionals who provide expert services in empowering the clients. Clients are taught life skills and coping skills which help them put their addiction into remission and prevent relapse in the future. Each client goes through a screening and assessment process after which individualized treatment plans are created. These include individual and group therapy, educational lectures, lifestyle management classes, and 12-step meetings. Through these therapies, clients are able to reclaim their lives and maintain everlasting recovery.

Housing and Food at Samaritan Recovery Community

Samaritan Recovery Community is located at walking distance from Downtown Nashville and East Nashville. The campus consists of separate buildings for administrative offices, residential treatment, transitional living, and Bridgeway Apartments. The campus can accommodate sixty patients in the residential program and twenty-four patients in the recovery apartments. Clients stay in apartments that contain double-occupancy rooms. Each room has twin beds, tables, and closets for each resident. Each room has an attached bathroom which both residents share. There is a clubhouse at the facility which houses a group room and a kitchen. The group room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and is comfortably furnished and decorated to provide a cozy and warm environment where clients can relax and watch TV in their breaks. The campus offers beautiful outdoor settings where residents can sit in gazebos and enjoy the views. An outdoor basketball court and badminton court provides clients with the opportunity to engage in sports and recreational activities. The kitchen staff prepares healthy and tasty food for residents three times a day. The food is prepared while keeping into consideration special dietary restrictions of clients. There is a dining room where clients eat their meals.

Samaritan Recovery Community offers a number of treatment programs each with different costs for self-pay options. The residential treatment program costs $6,000 for 28 days. The cost for the intensive outpatient program is $50 per session. The transitional living program costs $7,200 for 90 days duration. Apart from self-pay, Samaritan Recovery Community accepts commercial plans of major insurance companies the details of which can be obtained from the admissions office. For individuals who cannot pay themselves or do not have any insurance, they may apply for government funding or grant which assesses each person’s individual case to determine if they qualify or not.
