Youth Care Treatment Center is a division of the CRC Health Group. It aims to provide the utmost care to adolescents who are suffering from substance abuse. Any child above the age of 11 and below 18 could be a part of the Youth Care of Utah. The facility offers a residential program laid on the foundation of mutual respect where children are expected to treat peers and staff members with respect in order to get treated with respect in return.

Accommodation and Food at Youth Care Treatment Center

Youth Care Treatment Center offers inpatient services that usually last 115 days while some even go up to one year and six months. Due to this requirement for a long stay, the facility offers a dormitory-like setting to make students feel at home. Youth Care has in total three buildings with living quarters and classrooms in each one of them.
Clients have to share their rooms with one or two other roommates. Each room has a personal bathroom and twin beds. As the facility has been renovated recently, students have access to basketball courts, soccer fields, and computer labs.
When it comes to food, parents do not have to worry at all as the facility provides three meals a day. The menu is decided by specialists and is specially designed to provide a well-balanced diet to students. Students have to go to the cafeteria in order to enjoy their food.

Trina Quinney-Packard
Executive Director

Trina Quinney-Packard is the CEO of Youth Care of Utah since she accepted the position in 2005. She has been a part of Youth Care for the past 15 years. She completed her graduation in Special and Elementary Education at Southern Utah University and her Masters in Educational Counseling at the University of Phoenix. She has gained considerable experience in testing, behavior modification, and disabilities as well.
Before she joined Youth Care, she was Olympus View Hospital’s Director of Education for five years. She was also the Northstar Program’s Executive Director in Oregon. She managed and counseled students suffering from substance abuse and mental disorders.

Tanya May
Admissions Director

Tanya May is currently serving as Admissions Director of Youth Care Treatment Center. She is a licensed nurse and Nursing Director at the facility apart from also being the Referral Communications Coordinator. She joined the team at Youth Care in 2001.

Stacey Astin
Compliance & Operations Director

Stacey Astin is the Compliance & Operations Director at Youth Care Treatment Center. She has an MBA degree from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s degree from Furman University. She has been a part of Youth Care Treatment Center’s team since 2002.
