EBTCS Overview
Evidence Based Treatment Centers of Seattle is a unique organization, treatment facility or a center, call it however you want, founded in 2002 by a group of three psychologists and one psychiatrist. Initially, the organization started as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) center but later expanded to treat patients with different therapy needs and with different mental health problems. Persons who are struggling with substance abuse and eating disorders can also get much-needed help at EBTCS.
Core values of EBTCS are to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment to patients in order to allow them to overcome their problems more effectively. The organization treats children, adolescents, and adults with evidence-based therapies. Team members strive to learn and improve constantly, they also carry out their own research, and try to build a strong community.
EBTCS Housing
The treatment center doesn’t provide residential services at this point, so there is no accommodation info. The closest thing to residential service is an intensive outpatient treatment which requires daily visits and is suitable for persons whose mental health or addiction problems are severe.
EBTCS Treatment Options
As you can conclude judging by the name of the facility treatment options are evidence-based. Nowadays there’s a wide array of treatment and recovery centers and even more programs and therapies. Not all programs are equal, some of them are founded on solid, scientific evidence while others are not. While some treatments may seem appealing, they may not be effective. That’s why EBTCS focuses on evidence-based approaches only. Patients who seek their services can be confident knowing that treatment options provided by this facility truly work.
The treatment center treats children, adolescents, and adults. Like in other places, clients or patients undergo a thorough assessment which is important for the creation of the treatment plan. It’s important to mention again that EBTCS doesn’t provide residential services, only outpatient treatment plans. These treatment plans consist of therapies provided to patients at DBT Center, Anxiety Center, Child Anxiety Center, Eating Disorders Center, but they may also be helpful for persons who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. EBTCS also supports dual diagnosis cases, and patients get to go through the 12-step program.
EBTCS Therapies Provided
The treatment center features various programs, and each of them provides its own therapies. Of course, it’s possible for these programs to have some therapies in common. EBTCS Payment Options
Prices of treatment programs at EBTCS aren’t displayed on the website. After all, treatment is adapted to the patient, and every person has their own unique needs. Psychotherapists at EBTCS don’t have a contract with any insurance panel because they are considered out-of-network providers. Patients are advised to contact their insurance company to determine if they will reimburse them for services provided by EBTCS. On the other hand, psychiatrists are contracted with Regence and Premera. Also, EBTCS accepts cash, check Visa, or MasterCard payments.
EBTCS Licenses
The complete list of licenses and accreditations obtained by EBTCS is not revealed on the website. The DBT center recently received DBT-Linehan Board of Certification thus becoming a certified program. It’s safe to say they probably have other certifications too bearing in mind the vast selection of treatments and therapies they provide.
EBTCS Amenities
The most important advantage of EBTCS is the ability to treat patients with different kinds of problems. Thanks to a variety of centers that are a part of EBTCS people from different walks of life and with different issues can still get the much-needed help they truly deserve.
