River Park Hospital is a 165-bed facility that is located on the corner of 6th Avenue and 13th Street in Huntington. It is built as a modern building with stylish interiors and furnishing. Clients are offered a private, comfortable, and nurturing environment where they learn to deal with their behavioral and emotional issues. Clients stay in rooms that are private or double-occupancy. Rooms are furnished with twin beds, dressers, nightstands, and closets for each resident. There are common areas equipped with TVs and cable which provide a relaxing and comfortable setting for clients to pass their free time. Residents are also offered a number of outdoor and indoor recreation activities including sports, walks, yoga, and meditation. There is a cafeteria at the campus where residents and other clients are served food. Food is prepared in the in-house kitchen run by chefs and kitchen staff. They prepare nutritious and healthy meals for residents three times a day. The chefs also accommodate special dietary restrictions and food allergies of clients during the preparation of meals. All clients eat together in the sitting area of the cafeteria. Other than the three specified meals, the cafeteria also offers snacks and beverages throughout the day.
