The center also offers its exclusive intervention MAAEZ system (Making Alcoholics Anonymous Easier) which introduces clients to Alcoholics Anonymous or the 12-Step programs. Their Way of Life treatment program offers individual and group interventions to clients which help them make positive changes in their lifestyles.

Housing and Food at Burkwood Treatment Center

Burkwood Treatment Center is located in a serene and peaceful location in Hudson, Wisconsin. The rustic campus offers a safe, tranquil, and relaxing environment to clients where they can unplug from all the stressors and pressures of life and embark on their journey of healing and recovery. The center comprises a huge mansion surrounded by lawns, walking trails, and outdoor courtyards. It can accommodate 35 adult men and women at one time. Clients stay in gender-specific rooms that are shared among 2-3 individuals. Each room is furnished with twin beds, side tables, and storage space for each client. Each room has an attached bathroom shared among clients. There are two living rooms inside the house which are equipped with comfortable sofas and TV. Clients can watch TV and socialize with each other in the living rooms during their free time. Clients are provided with a number of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities including sports, walks, strolls, yoga, and meditation. There is an in-house kitchen where a chef prepares healthy and nutritious foods for residents three times a day. Residents are encouraged to help out in the kitchen during their free time. The chef prepares a variety of food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
