Greenbriar Treatment Center, located in the city of Washington, Pennsylvania, is a facility which provides treatment for adults 18 and older dealing with substance addiction, chemical dependence, and mental health issues. The center has been providing care, education, and support for these individuals for more than three decades and boasts of several locations in various counties within Pennsylvania some of which include Wexford, Pittsburgh, and New Kensington. The center is known for approaching cases medically and psychologically and incorporates the twelve-step program throughout the recovery period. The facility offers treatment to individuals suffering from co-occurring disorders and also provides various level of care to its clients. Some of these include detoxification, a day partial outpatient program, and an inpatient rehabilitation program. The detox program takes place in Washington and is also attached to the inpatient center. Medication-assisted treatment may also be offered during the detox process. Additionally, the treatment center provides the two separate, gender-specific halfway houses called Lighthouse for Women and Lighthouse for Men. Accommodation And Food

Food is served thrice a day in the dining room, cafeteria-style and the facility’s kitchen staff prepares the meals. Cooks at the facility may be able to accommodate special dietary restrictions although this is not always possible. Snacks are also provided after meal times.

Insurance is accepted and a verification process is done before admission into the facility. Information needed include; Photo ID/Driver’s License, all health insurance cards, and many more. Clients are advised to contact the facility as qualified staffs are available to provide more information on policies, co-pays, deductibles, financial arrangements, and many more prior to being admitted into the facility. $30 – $50 pocket money is enough as it will be used for minor purchases such ass payphone cards, laundry, and vending machine.
Greenbriar Treatment Center Advantages
The treatment center offers a family program for the loved one of patients registered at the facility, focused on providing education and understanding on mental health and substance abuse issues. The time slot for this program is 6 pm to 7 pm on Wednesdays and is facilitated by a highly qualified therapist.
After completion of a program, the facility provides a discharge plan otherwise known as an aftercare program to clients who have completed a residential program or are eligible after proper vetting. The aftercare program includes recovery homes for alums or clients who have completed an outpatient treatment at the facility. The average duration of a lengthened stay in the halfway house is usually between three to six months.

He is certified to practice Addiction Counseling and served as Director of Clinical Services for 2 years prior to holding the position of Director of Training.
