Red Rock Canyon even has a recording studio where students can create music as form of therapeutic activity. Other features include a yoga studio, gymnasium, and fitness center where residents can exercise or just relax and enjoy the slow, peaceful movements.
The multipurpose room is located across the cafeteria. This is the area where all the fun happens. Activities such as parties, game day, service projects, and family weekends are regularly conducted in this room.
Another fun room at the Red Rock Canyon School is the theatre room where clients can watch movies or sports games. Even though parties are usually arranged in the multipurpose room, the center has a dance floor where residents can take Zumba or dance classes.
The School organizes enrichment and experiential learning activities such as leadership games, teamwork contests, object lessons, inspirational movies, job skills, field trips, and inspirational talks.
Considering that the center is surrounded by gorgeous landscapes, clients often enjoy hiking, fishing, and rock climbing. Teenagers are also encouraged to participate in sports events such as bowling, golfing, and tennis matches.
Special attention is paid to Native American clients to help them reconnect with their heritage.
