Mind Therapy Clinic is located at two locations in California. The campus at San Francisco provides clients with a safe, private, and comfortable environment where they feel nurtured and encouraged to continue their healing process. Clients are offered a luxurious environment where they feel comforted and empowered to bring about a positive change in their attitude and life. The center only offers outpatient services to clients, so there are no residential facilities provided for them. The campus comprises various units and wings where different therapies and sessions are carried out. All meeting rooms and therapy rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished to offer a modern atmosphere to clients. There are common rooms provided for clients and their families which are equipped with TVs, books, magazines, and furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs. The common rooms serve as warm and cozy places where people can relax and wait. There is a cafeteria at the campus where a kitchen staff prepares food items for clients and staff members. They provide freshly-made snacks and sandwiches along with a variety of salads. A number of drinks are also available at the cafeteria including non-alcoholic drinks, juices, coffee, and tea. The campus also has a few vending machines at different locations.

Psychiatrist

Jeffrey earned his Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School after which he received his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his training in adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry at Massachusetts General and McLean Hospital at Harvard Medical School. He is Board Certified in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.

Nicole Poell, PsyD
Director of Clinical Training

Nicole has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in providing individual and group psychotherapy to adults. She has over 10 years of experience of working with patients of mental health issues.

Katy Tarella, LCSW
Associate Clinical Director

Katy has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons College, Boston. She completed her post-graduate training at McLean Hospital. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in dialectical behavioral therapy, mentalization-based therapy (MBT), and general psychiatric management (GPM).
