The San Jose Behavioral Health Center is a member of the Acadia HealthCare Network that provides behavioral health and mental health services to adolescents and adults. Clients are provided with a wide range of therapies including medication management, individual and group therapy, and experiential therapy. Psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions are treated with premier services. Clients are empowered to stabilize themselves and build the skills necessary to prevent relapse. The staff at the center is comprised of experienced and devoted healthcare professionals who provide 24/7 services to their clients. Clients and family members are involved in every step of the recovery process through a supportive and nurturing environment.

Housing and Food at San Jose Behavioral Health

The San Jose Behavioral Health Center is located in the heart of San Jose, California. It is set in a clinical setting that provides neat and clean accommodations to its clients. It has a capacity of 80 clients that stay in gender-specific wings. Two patients stay in a room that is furnished with twin beds, tables, and closets for each client. Each room has an attached bathroom with shower. The center provides all basic amenities to clients including bed linen, towels, and related items. There are common rooms for clients some of which contain a TV also. Clients are allowed to relax in the common rooms in their free time. There is an indoor sports gym at the campus where clients can play volleyball, basketball, and table tennis. There is a game room at the campus as well where clients can play board games and engage in arts and crafts activities. The center also provides clients with opportunities for outdoor activities such as sports, yoga, and meditation. An in-house kitchen staff and chefs prepare healthy and nutritious food for residents three times a day. Clients are served meals in the cafeteria where they all eat together. They have a number of food options to choose from including non-vegetarian, vegetarian, and vegan options.
