Clients stay in semi-private rooms which are shared between two individuals. Rooms are furnished with twin beds, nightstands, closets, chairs, and desks for each client. Each room has an attached bathroom with shower. There are common rooms for clients which are furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs. Residents can watch TV in the living room and relax in their free time. Many recreational activities are offered for West Oaks Hospital residents. These include outdoor and indoor activities such as sports, games, arts, crafts, exercise, and other leisure activities. The hospital has an in-house chef who provides three daily meals for residents. The meals are freshly prepared in the kitchen and served in the cafeteria where all residents eat together. She has held several revered designations including Director of Clinical Services and Regional Crisis Team Supervisor at different healthcare organizations before becoming the CEO of West Oaks Hospital in 2016.

Dr. Arif Shoaib
Medical Director

Dr. Shoaib earned his medical degree from Sindh Medical College, Karachi. He completed his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UT, Houston. He specializes in treating patients with bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, and substance abuse disorders.

Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana College. He has over 35 years of experience working in the field of finance. He has served in various behavioral healthcare facilities in their finance departments before joining West Oaks Hospital as the Chief Financial Officer.
