Separate lodging facilities are provided for each age-group program. Two patients share one room in each of these settings. The rooms are furnished with beds and side tables. Each room has an attached bathroom which both patients share. Laundry and cleaning services are provided by the hospital. There are common rooms where patients can interact with each other in a comfortable setting. Group sessions and therapy rooms are decorated and furnished to give a warm and cozy feel. Dr. Raymond Mays has degrees from Trinity University, San Antonio, and the University of Texas Medical March. He joined River Crest in 1995. Before that, he served as Medical Director at other facilities. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry. He deals with patients of depression, ADHD, and panic disorders.

Annelise Arze, MD
Psychiatrist

Dr. Arze received her medical degree from the Universidad Mayor de San Simon in Cochabamba, Bolivia. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Texas Tech. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Before joining River Crest, she held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Texas Tech Health Center.

Mercy has a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program from the University of Rochester School of Nursing. She has experience working in outpatient and inpatient facilities providing mental health care to children and adolescents. Her areas of expertise include providing nursing services in rehabilitation and medical surgical settings.
