Recovery House, Inc. has a campus called Serenity House at Wallingford, Vermont. Serenity House comprises a double story building surrounded by lush green lawns. The building has a capacity of 24 male and female patients. There are gender-specific floors where clients reside in rooms. Rooms are shared among 2-3 clients. Each room is furnished with twin beds, nightstands, and closets for each client. There are communal bathrooms on each floor which residents of that floor share. There is a living room in the building where clients can relax and socialize with each other. The center provides a number of recreational activities for residents. They can play basketball and volleyball in the outdoor courtyards. They can take walks and strolls on the beautiful lawns and grounds of the campus. There is an indoor exercise room which is equipped with basic gym equipment and exercise machines. On weekends, residents are taken to concerts, movies, or the lake for recreation. There is an on-site chef at the center who prepares three daily meals for residents. All three meals are served in the common dining hall where all residents eat together. The chef prepares a variety of food items which also include any special dietary restriction specified by a resident.
