Wyoming Recovery is a treatment facility that offers treatment services to individuals who are suffering from alcohol and substance use disorders. This facility is located in Casper, Wyoming. It is centrally situated in the heart of the Rocky Mountains with lakes, waterfalls, mountains, forests, rivers, streams, museums, parks, etc. all around.
Wyoming Recovery offers a holistic approach to inpatient and outpatient care based on 12 steps. At Wyoming Recovery, adults over the age of 18 years receive a full continuum of care who are struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders. This facility offers residential program, intensive outpatient program (IOP), partial hospitalization program (PHP), and continuing care. There is also an option for medical detoxification on the site.
The goal of Wyoming Recovery is to help each individual with life changes that will facilitate ongoing recovery and abstinence. This will result in improved health and function of its patients and their concerned families. This personal approach to the rehabilitation process makes Wyoming Recovery unique.

Accommodation and Food

Wyoming Recovery offers residential programs to both men and women. The residential facility comprises four residential units on an open campus. It can accommodate 15 clients at maximum. The residents are housed in gender-specific residential units. Each room is shared by two residents with a common bathroom. Apart from that, clients have to take part in daily chores.
Every residential unit has a living room where clients can relax and watch Netflix for free. There is a laundry facility available at each unit. Residents can access the Casper Recreation Center for workout thrice a week. However, there is no gym on the site.
When it comes to food, Wyoming Recovery takes full care of it. The meals are provided in cooperation to Wyoming Medical Center. Clients have to walk to this hospital, which is just one block east. Here, clients are served with meals in a cafeteria-like setting. Dietary accommodations can be accommodated if necessary. Residents are occasionally taken to local restaurants

Dr. Frank Del Real
Medical Director

Dr. Frank Del Real serves the team of Wyoming Recovery as the Medical Director. He has experience in this field from over 35 years. He completed his Medical Director degree at the University of California and his residency at the UCLA Medical Center, Harbor. Dr. Real is Board certified in addiction medicine. As a psychiatrist, he has practiced for 28 years. He is also an active member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).

Kristi Kuhn-Hann
Clinical Director

Kristi Kuhn-Hann is the Clinical Director at Wyoming Recovery. She completed her nursing school in 1989. She holds a degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, and Addictionology. She has been working in this field from the past ten years. She actively provides substance abuse services to individuals and their families who are struggling with addiction.
Kristi is also a specialist in women’s studies and trauma along with holding a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She recently completed her studied related to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has been serving the team of Wyoming Recovery since 2010.

Willie Adams
Clinical Supervisor

Willie Adams joined the Wyoming Recovery team on January 3, 2017. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Wyoming. He has been serving the field of social work from the past 20 years. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed through the State of Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board. Before joining Wyoming Recovery, Willie Adams worked with the Natrona County School as a certified social worker. As an LCSW, he served the Central Wyoming Counseling Center while he worked for Wyoming Medical Center as a medical social worker.
